RJ’s journey in the world of broadcast media began more than three decades ago, when the radio industry was experiencing a vibrant era marked by intense competition and unparalleled creativity. During this time, he found his true passion. While RJ’s original aspiration was to become a prominent Top 40 disc jockey, he soon discovered a natural talent and affinity for audio production. He spent countless hours in the production room, immersing myself in the art and science of creating captivating audio content.
In the mid-nineties, RJ embarked on an entrepreneurial endeavor and established Vanilla Gorilla Productions, marking the beginning of a remarkable 25-year journey. Today, Vanilla Gorilla operates under the umbrella of Bill Young Productions in Houston, providing top-notch services to a multitude of radio stations across North America.
Following his departure from Bill Young Productions, RJ delved into various facets of broadcasting, promotional marketing, business operations, and brand development, adding a rich tapestry of experience in business. RJ Lee’s expertise encompasses voiceover work, audio production, and the effective management of studio operations.
